Admitted to the Oregon Soldiers' Home at Roseburg, Douglas County, Oregon on 14 Sep 1916. Died in the Soldiers' Home Hospital at Roseburg, Oregon. His headstone has his last name as "Yeoman". Some military records list his name as "James L. Yeoman". Other military records and post-war records (including pension records) list his last name as "Youmans".
