A member of Donelson Post No. 26 of Sheridan, Yamhill County, Oregon. Served the Post as Surgeon in 1885. On 31 Mar 1914 admitted to the Oregon Soldiers Home at Roseburg, Douglas County, Oregon. Discharged at his own request on 17 Feb 1925. According to his obituary, he was Commander of Reno Post No. 29 of Roseburg, Oregon when it disbanded in 1931. Died in the U.S. Veterans Hospital at Roseburg, Oregon. Findagrave memorial # 51572590.
