On 31 Jul 1865 reported for duty with his Company at Fort Yamhill, Oregon. 2 Aug 1865 commanding, Fort Yamhill, Oregon. 22-23 Aug 1865 marching with 20 men to the mouth of Crooked River. 4 Sep 1865 commanding expedition to Crooked River and performing duties as ordered. 31 Dec 1865 commanding, Camp Polk, Oregon. 13 Mar 1866 commanding, Fort Yamhill, Oregon. 5 Jun 1866 joined Post with 40 men at Fort Vancouver, Washington Territory. 8 Jun 1866 received orders to report to Salem, Oregon for muster out of service. Company A mustered out at Fort Vancouver, Washington Territory on 30 Jun 1866. A member of Donelson Post No. 26 of Sheridan, Yamhill County, Oregon. Served the Post as Adjutant in 1885.
