Born in Pennsylvania. Enlisted in the 12th Michigan Infantry for one year at Mason, Michigan. Mustered in as a Private in Company G on 14 Mar 1865. Discharged at Duvall's Bluff, Arkansas. A charter member of G. K. Warren Post No. 21 of North Yamhill, Yamhill County, Oregon. Served the Post as Surgeon in 1884, Junior Vice Commander in 1887, Commander in 1889, Quartermaster Sergeant in 1890, and Officer of the Day in 1891. Died in Yamhill County, Oregon. Wife-Mary C.
