Born in New York. A resident of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois when he enlisted in the 72nd Illinois Infantry for one year at Chicago, Illinois. Mustered in as a Private in Company B the same day he enlisted. In Jul 1865 transferred to Company B, 33rd Illinois Infantry. Mustered out at Vicksburg, Mississippi on 24 Nov 1865. Discharged at Chicago, Illinois. A member of Custer Post No. 6 of Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington. Served the Post as Quartermaster in 1884 and 1885. Died in Tacoma, Washington. He is the namesake of Junett Street in Tacoma, Washington.
